coral nail polish, fabric paint, jewels, fruit tart, pink champagne & beloved friends around sara's table made turning 30 the sweetest moment. sara is a woman of many talents- cooking is just one. here is what we we ate. (see pics) i thought i might feel all grown up finally, i don't & have decided to embrace the feeling of littleness. i am acutely aware of what gifts my friends have brought me- laughter, tenderness, courage, beauty & contentment, creativity, loyalty, acceptance, love. I'm sure everyone has come across steve jobs quotes on blogs, twitter & facebook over the last week- i'm going to join the multitude. These two quotes speak to me of really getting up & living life. Doing things you adore, doing things on a whim, with childlike curiosity.
